Hello and welcome! I am so glad you dropped by today! My name is Shanna from Caffeinated Craftiness, and I am joining you again with another post here as a guest designer!
Today I am sharing some caffeinated inspiration from Super Sponsor Trinity Stamps! They recently released an absolutely adorable. new card kit featuring some beautiful floral stamps and dies, coordinating paper, and exclusive mini fusion ink cubes from Inkon3! There is also an exclusive embellishment blend that is soooo pretty as well. I decided I really wanted to put my personal “coffee twist” on a card using the kit, and the rest is history! You can find the Summer Blooms card kit in the shop, as of the time I am writing this, its still in stock (for now!) but quantities are very limited!
I used one of the new freebie gift with purchase dies that is a coffee cup and die cut it from paper—then I added 2 coats of clear embossing powder for shine and dimension. I heat embossed the floral stamps onto navy card stock in Inkon3’s Strawberry Champagne embossing powder. LOVE!! I trimmed the bottom half of my A2 card with a new-to-me technique called a “curtain fold”. (YouTube for the win!). I think it looks neat, and love how it shows both sides of the pretty paper! As a sneaky little touch of dimension, I dry embossed the bottom half of the panel with polka dot embossing folder so the texture peeked through the curtain fold.
My sentiment is an all time favorite from the Trinity Stamps Love and Stuff 3×4 sentiment stamp set. It speaks the truth doesn’t it?!?
That wraps up today’s Mug shot [of espresso] Monday post! I will be back in a couple weeks with another crafty shot! Until then you can always find me and follow along with my caffeinated adventures over on instagram @caffeinated.craftiness. See y’all soon!
