Brew & Craft Your Stash – Basic Supplies #5

Hello Coffee Lovers!!

It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash! We are looking for inspiration from Paper Crafters Handmade Cards and Card Creations for Him! Both are from 2013! So grab your cup and settle in!

Today we are looking at Paper Crafters Handmade Cards. From the next page in the Basics Section, there are four cards and they mainly used pattern papers, enamel dots, die cuts, and buttons. I went with pattern paper for today’s card, because I challenged myself to make only ocean-themed cards this month! I have so many ocean animal stamps sets, but find I rarely use them. Mainly because I tend not to create as much during the summer, but want to use them so when I create a card this month it’s going to be ocean-themed!

I started with Trinity Stamps Shark Bait and Sweet N Sassy Stamps I Like Big Cups. First I stamped one f the travel cups and then a couple of seaweed images. Then I masked the seaweed and stamped the cut little sub.

With my Altenew Alcohol Markers and Copics, I colored the image and then fussy cut it out. I used a black marker to color the edge of the image.

From my stash of pattern paper, I picked out some pretty starfish with an aqua ombre color to it. I used a stitched rectangle to cut it out and adhered it to a dark aqua card base. From the same paper pad, I cut out a gold edge strip and stamped the Subone is Missing You sentiment. I adhered this to the card and then added my cup with foam tape!

A simple card to make, but a great way to use my coffee AND ocean-themed stamps!!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
