It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash! We are looking for inspiration from Paper Crafters Handmade Cards and Card Creations for Him! Both are from 2013! So grab your cup and settle in!
I know that I should be basing today’s card from Card Creations for Him, BUT…. Today is my birthday and I didn’t want to make a masculine card! Instead, I made a card with basic supplies like pattern paper and a stencil. And of course, I made it in my favorite color, orange!
I started with Avery Elle’s Cool Beans stamp set. It’s not available at Avery Elle, but I was able to snag it from Butterfly Reflections Ink! I stamped the coffee cup and used the matching die-cut to cut it out. I used the coffee wrap to cut some pretty flower paper. I used my Altenew Markers to shade the white cup and then adhered the wrap to the cup.
Next, I cut a white panel and used an older stencil and new to me Brutus Monroe Glitter Glaze, Pumpkin that I also picked up at Butterfly Reflections Ink! I let this dry and I really liked how it turned out!!
My pattern paper came from an older Echo Park Paper Co pad and I used the dot orange pattern on a grey card base. I added the glittered pattern after adding a scalloped piece I cut with a die.
For a sentiment, I cut a little notched tag from The Greetery and stamped the Happy Birthday. I added the coffee cup and the sentiment to the glitter pattern. Last I added a tiny black twine bow.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope this inspires you to pull out your basic supplies and make a card! Next time I’ll get back to our masculine card!!
