Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash! We are looking for inspiration from Paper Crafters Handmade Cards and Card Creations for Him! Both are from 2013! So grab your cup and settle in!
Today we are looking at Paper Crafters Handmade Cards. From the next page in the Basics Section, there are four cards and they mainly used pattern papers so I used pattern paper in my card with a few enamel dots!
I started with Avery Elle’s Cup of Wishes stamp set. I used Catherine Poolers Feeling Chilly pattern paper set, picking out a pretty pink pattern. I stamped the teacup from the stamp set and fussy cut it out. Next, I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment on the teacup.
Catherine Poolers pattern paper suggests ink colors that match the paper and I picked out those colors and inked up some white cardstock. Then I stamped the different flowers and leaves from the stamp set. I cut them and used a black pen to color the edges.
For the background, I did some watercoloring smooching with the orange and pink ink colors I used. I used a CP green to splatter some additional color when my smooching was dry.
Next, I arranged the flowers and leaves on the teacup and then adhered enamel dots to the flower centers. I added the teacup to the watercolor panel with foam tape and then adhered the panel to an orange card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope this inspires you to pull out your pattern paper and enamel dots and make a tea or coffee card!!
