Hey, Hey! It is your buddy Katie here today. Popping in with a big old cup of yum for you.
I was dying to use my new Avery Elle Peek-a-boo flight, but wasn’t quite sure how to make into a coffee card. But, low and behold, I was able to work it out making my helicopter carry a big old cup of joe!
I made this one, by starting with my helicopter and clouds and coloring them with my Copics. Then I cut it out and colored the Cheetah from Peek-a-boo Jungle. For all of these, I used Copics B35, B26, B24 and B000, C5, C3, C1, YG23, YG17, W5, W3, W1, G00, YR15, YR21, Y35, Y38, Y31, Y17, Y13, E35. Once I had the images, I set them aside. Then I pulled out this cup die from Echo Park, I die cut the cup using some Lawn Fawn DP and colored the coffee portion, adding some gel highlights.
I wanted to make my cup look like it was being carried by the helicopter so I attached some twine to the landing gear and around the cup. I added a tag, which is die cut in Doodlebugs Paper and cut using a Taylored Expressions Die. I stamped the sentiment on it. Next, I used the AE Wonky Stitches die and cut out some Doodlebugs paper to put on the base. I mounted all my images and added in my clouds. Lastly, I added this little coffee bean embellishment from Trinity Stamps.
I would like someone to bring me a cup of coffee this big every Monday to help me get through the work day! LOL.
I hope you liked this post today and thank you for visiting!
