Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Welcome to 2021!  It’s a New Year and hopefully a much better one!  Time will tell, but I am hopeful!  Today I am sharing a fun card using some goodies I got over at Super Sponsors Not 2 Shabby Shop and Doodlebugs WA during the last coffee hop with a little help from Trinity Stamps!  Here’s how I was inspired:

Not 2 Shabby carries some Penguin Palace stamps along with lots of other brands, including this adorabe Rabbit Cafe set!  Love the sweet little coffee shop, bunnies and girl along with all of the other cute images…I stamped, cut and colored all of the images from the set because I wasn’t sure of my layout to start.

I created my base using that awesome Avery Elle Rainbow Ellements Die!  I got mine at Doodlebugs, but as I type this they were out but they do still have the coordinating stamp set!  And I did find the die right over at the Avery Elle website!  I cut all of the pieces once from white cardstock.  The outermost edge of the die I cut apart and cut the hearts and droplets from inside the cloud, but left the rest in tact which cuts a nice frame and rainbow strips so it was easy to color the strips and insert them right back into the frame.  I cut a white base about 5 1/2″ x 4 3/4″.  I scored it at 4 1/4″ and folded it over with a 1/2″ strip and attached the rainbow to it so that the front flap is the rainbow and then added a sheet of plaid paper from the MFT Stamps Party Plaid 6×6 paper pad I got over at Doodlebugs cut using one of my favorite rectangle nesting dies from A Jillian Vance Design.

The sign above the coffee shop and the sign in the window are blank on the set and I discovered that the Trinity Stamps/Coffee Loving Cardmakers collaboration set Frappy Camper had some sentiments that were exactly the right size to fill them in (which reminded me I need to pull that one out and use it!!)!  After I put my base together, I arranged my images because what else would you find in that heavenly place at the base of a rainbow but a coffee shop!?
