Coffee + Cards – Krafty Duo – Coffee Loving Papercrafters

I don’t think I’m alone when I say that I might have a bit of a paper collection. Although that does include 6×6, today I wanted to tackle 12×12. Hi everyone, it’s Amy here sharing a couple of cards that I whipped up last night.

I knew that I was going to make a coordinating card set so I wanted to work with an easy color palette:

Red, White, Kraft + Black

The kraft panels are all the same. It’s this great stuff by Jillibean that I’ve had forever. It’s reversible, black polkas on one side and solid kraft on the other. It is nice and heavy, a bit of grit/texture.

The other piece of my design is that I used all stamps + dies by Super Sponsor The Ton. Generally it’s easier for me to work with one company. I have less of a chance of being overwhelmed by choices [chuckling].

Let’s chat about the cocoa card first:

The Christmas Mug Dies did all the work for me. The whip is two layer in white cardstock. There is foam dimensionals on the bottom and top layer. I love the look but won’t when it goes postal [sigh]. I used the solid mug in black cardstock. The sentiment is from their Like a Boss set. That set is packed with fun sentiments especially for crafters. The Craft Queen one fit perfectly on the mug. I loaded up my white Kuretake Gansai Tambi with water and added a bit of speckles on the top of the Kraft panel that I cut with the Ton’s Scalloped A2 Nested Dies.

Next up is my Tea card:

For this design I used The Ton’s Holiday Coffee Dies. I added the tea bag with a die that I had out from my last project and I stamped it with a snowflake from the Blizzard Hugs set. The sentiment is from their Coming Up Poinsettias set. The lid and tea bag tag are both on foam dimensionals.
