Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Happy Friday, Coffee Lovin Fans!  We’re excited to welcome back our October Guest Designer, Mary Reiner who has a darling card to share with us today!

I’m so excited to be here again to share another coffee-themed card! I’m dedicating this card to all of my friends that I haven’t been able to grab a coffee with for what seems like FOREVER! I miss them so much!  So instead of my friends, I have to say ‘hello’ to my coffee.

Do you have a friend that you love getting coffee with? I created these two gals to look like two of my coffee loving friends.

To start my card, I cut my slimline card base using the Divinity Designs Slimline Card Base die. Then, I cut the two layers with Divinity Designs Slimline Layering Rectangle dies. For the images, I decided to use one of my all-time favorites from Concord & 9th, the Daily Wear and Winter Wear stamps and dies. I love how you can customize the look of the gals by adding glasses and other fun accessories. To color my images, I used Copic Markers. For the sentiment, I combined the letters from the Daily Wear dies and the word “coffee” from Kat Scrappiness “Got Coffee” dies. I wanted to add some dimension, so I adhered some white craft foam to the back of my coffee cups to pop them up.
