Lucky to have Adam Karle back again and wait ’til you see what he’s got for us this week:
Hi Crafty Peeps! I started this card by blocking off a section in the lower quadrant to stencil a patio for the focal image of the card. I used a Tim Holtz stencil called Woven Layering stencil. I inked the area using Tim Holtz distress Oxides in Hickory Smoke for the positive and Milled Lavender for the negative space. I then masked the stenciled area and using Pan Pastels I colored the background/sky.
I stamped and colored the focal images using Copic Markers. These images are from the Jaded Blossom stamp set – Christmas Village Coffee Shoppe. Next I arranged the images to form the scene and attached the foreground stamps using foam tape to add dimension.
The final step was to add a sentiment. This I got from the Simon Says Stamp – What’s Brewing Stamp. I embossed the sentiment in white onto black layered onto yellow to copy the over all card layering. Added a few sequins and the card was completed.
I hope you are enjoying my work and I would love for you to tag me with your creations on Instagram. Please follow me at: www.instagram.com/ark513
