Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash!! Challenge #58 in the 75 Creative Card Challenges Magazine by Paper Crafts 2013!! Grab your drink of choice and get ready for some great crafty ideas!!!
Challenge #58 – Cut Stickers in Half. Each of the cards in the magazine cut stickers in half, some image or border stokers, others words and letters!
I don’t have many stickers, mainly a bunch of alpha stickers, but….. haha!! I do have some very, very old Basic Grey stickers sheets. They are so nice and colorful, one day I’ll use them all!! 🙂
From the sticker sheet I picked out a big journaling sticker and cut it in half. I placed it on a gray card base and played around with the placement. I picked out a few coffee stamp sets to play with before settling with Joy Clair Designs Coffee Love stamp set. The set must be retired as I don’t see it on their website, but they have a lot of coffee themed stamp sets you can check out here!
I used one of the coffee sentiments to stamp it in between the two stickers. Whenever I use stickers I always use some baby powder to de-stick it! I do this because I like to move my stickers around and don’t want to commit right away!
Next, I stamped the coffee cup on some matching light green card stock and fussy cut it out. I used a little piece of a sticker chain to decorate the cup.
After adhering the two sticker half’s to the card I added the coffee cup. I thought the card needed a little more so I added a sticker flower and bee along with a few matching rhinestones.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to pull out your stickers, cut them in half and use them!!! 😀
