Thursday Coffee Break | Spring Mixed Media Coffee Card

Hello hello hello coffee loving friends! It is Thursday and Helen is here. Let’s take a little coffee break with me!
Today, I made a Spring mixed media coffee card. A little inspiration to share with you for upcoming Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop. I hope you all planning to join!
On my mixed media card, I used products from several Super Sponsors:
I actually colored the digital image on my iPad Pro using Procreate App. After that, I saved the image in PNG format. I opened the image with photo editing software (you also can use any word processing software), then I resized it and then printed it with inkjet printer on a white cardstock. I fussy cut the cup with micro-tip scissors. I added some white fine glitter and green fine glitter on the image using the Art Glitter Dries-Clear Adhesive Glue.
I cut out a piece of 140 lbs watercolor paper using the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. For the some texture on the background, I first, I added a thin layer of glass texture paste with the Brick Wall stencil and then when it dried, I added some colors with Gelatos (blueberry and purple) and some water. When the Gelatos dried, I used the Make Marks 2 Stencil to add some white gesso and then before the gesso dried, I sprinkled some of the WOW! Embossing Powder on it and then carefully dried it with craft heater. Need to pay attention to gesso while drying with craft heater because it can be bubbly. I added some splatters on the background panel with Marabu Mixed Media Art Sprays and white spray acrylic paint. I set it aside to dried.
I added the white background mat, purple background mat, and the mixed media background mat on a white cardstock using the E-Z Runner Grand Permanent. I added the cup on top of the mixed media background using the same permanent adhesive runner. For the sentiment, I printed it on a white cardstock with laser printer, added the red foil sheet, and then run it through the laminating machine. After that, I cut it with one of the Double Stitched Circles and added it on the card with 3D foam tape. I embellished the card with some of the sequins from my stash. I hope this card sparks an inspiration for this Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop!!! See you all tomorrow! Have a fabulous caffeinated day!
