Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello there coffee loving crafters!  It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip!  This week, It’s all about the preppin’ for the Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer Hop so I’ve been gathering and sorting and organizing my stamp sets and project ideas so that I can have some fun shares each and every day!  WOOP! Are you planning?  Are you excited?  Are you set and ready to roll?

Today, I’m sharing a project I created using a fun digi set from Graciellie Designs.  Now, it’s not the NEW NEW one that was released on Friday HERE, but it’s the coffee set that was a freebie set Gracie gave away recently. Don’t you just love and appreciate Gracie’s generosity?! I haven’t had a chance to play with it and I’ve had the image colored and ready for several weeks but just hadn’t decided on how to display it.  Do you do that?  Do you have images all colored and in waiting on your craft desk?  I have several so when they inspire me, that’s when I grab them.

I decided to add a fun digital background from Gracie’s digi paper set called:   Wild and Whimsy and I thought it would be fun to use a bit of machine stitching along those stripes.  I like the way the machine stitching gives additional texture to my cards and it really finishes them off.  I also added a bit of sparkle to the flower, the cuppa cappuccino using the Nuvo Shimmer pens.  They added just the faintest bit of sparkle and shine.  

So there you have it.  I’m just gettin’ warmed up and ready for the hop!  I can’t wait!!!  See you again soon!
