Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash!! Challenge #49 in the 75 Creative Card Challenges Magazine by Paper Crafts 2013!! Grab your drink of choice and get ready for some great crafty ideas!!!
Challenge #49 – Make Your Own Background Paper. One card in the magazine stamped several stamps to create a pattern paper. Another card used a die cut and did white on white for the background. The third card created a plaid pattern with a solid stripe stamp and different colored inks. The final card used three different colors and did some watercoloring.
With my card I pulled out Concord & 9th Coffee Blend Turnabout to create my background paper!! This has to be the easiest way out there to create your own background paper!! I used four different Papertrey Ink colors, along with the Turnabout Jig to create my background.
After stamping the background I adhered it to a Kraft card base. Then I added a strip of Kraft card stock across the card.
Then I used Concord & 9th Friendly Hello stamp set, stamping the Hello and Friend with Papertry Ink Classic Kraft ink. I fussy cut the hello out.
With the same inks I used with the background I stamped the flower and leave, they fussy cutting them out too. I added the sentiments and flower with foam tape.
I hope this encourages you to create your own background paper! Thanks for stopping by!!
