Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello everyone! It’s Thursday… It is time to take a little coffee break with me. To be honest with you all, I really need a good break after all this “stay at home” situation. Simply, having a girls’ night out with my girl-friends will do. We love to just go out, have coffee, dinner, and talk talk talk.

But… My friends… we all are maybe feeling stuck and helpless right, still have faith that things will get better and stay strong because we all are in this together. I made this card for you all today…

On my card today, I used Peony Hugs Digital Stamp Set and Wild & Whimsy Digital Paper Pack from Graciellie Design.

First, I printed the digital paper on a 4×6 photo paper. I like to print it on photo paper for different look and bit shiny look on it. I trimmed it into 4×5.5 and added it on an A2 white card with permanent adhesive runner.

I opened the digital stamps images (mug and sentiment) with Pixelmator Pro photo editing program, but MS Word or any document program will work well, too. After I resized them and duplicated the mug image, I printed the images on Neenah Solar White 8 lbs cardstock with inkjet printer. I dried the ink with craft heater and then colored them with SN Illustrator Markers. If you printed the images the day before, you can skip the drying with craft heater becuase the printer ink will dry well over night.

After I colored the images, I fussy cut all the images. I cut out the whole colored flower bouquet of the mug and then I added the flower bouquet on the other mug image with 3D foam tape to get the 3D look. I love how the pop and dimension effect as the result.

I added some shimmer on the flower bouquet with SN Clear Sparkles Brush for extra shiny o the flower. I tried to capture the glitter on it but this is the best I can get! It is very shimmery in the real life!!!

For the sentiment, I trimmed it into a sentiment label. Then, I added the sentiment label directly on top of the mug with permanent adhesive glue.
