Welcome to Caffeine Fueled Paper Play! I’m back with some more Flora & Fauna who is our featured Super Sponsor for this month’s Challenge! Here’s how I was inspired:
I’ve had this adorable set for so long it’s not available at Flora and Fauna any more, but if you really want it I did find it at Impress Cards and Crafts right here! I created my background using this Paper Smooches stencil and this Rubbernecker stencil. I decided to use some pretty neutral colors for today. After I stenciled my hills and sky background, I stamped some of the foliage stamps from the stamp set in various greens and browns. I added just a little bit of extra detail/color using some Copics when I was done.
I stamped and cut out my images using the Scan N Cut and layered them onto my card using various thicknesses of foam tape. Isn’t that little owl couple so very cute?? I colored a little wooden heart from Trinity with a Copic marker over their heads.
I added this sweet sentiment and placed a wood heart that I colored with the reddish brown I used on the mushroom and on the wooden heart floating above the owls. I love the typewriter font on so many of the Flora and Fauna sets!
That’s me for today! I’m playing along over at Double Trouble Challenges Say Cheese Challenge! Just create something that makes you smile! Coffee and owls make me smile along with a whole bunch of other things on this card… like that gingham paper… the cute little deer…I could go on and on! You should check it out and play along and there is an optional twist that could get you more chances to win over there!
And don’t forget about our challenge right here at the CLC! Play along by creating a new project using a coffee, tea or cocoa image from any Sponsor, past or present of the Coffee Loving Cardmakers! If you use a product from Flora and Fauna this month you get an extra chance to win! There is a prize! You can check out the details and link up at this post here!
Thanks for stopping and be sure to come back soon for more inspiration!
