Hello there coffee/tea/cocoa loving friends! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday SIp! This week I’m sharing a fun CAS-ish card I created using a new set I picked up at the Scrapbook Expo. This teapot (or coffee pot) is from the Elizabeth Craft Designs set called Tea Time. This is my first opportunity to work with these stamps (they are silicone, I think) and they stamped nicely and I didn’t have to use my Misti. Since this set doesn’t have any sentiments, I dug through my stash close at hand and found the perfect sentiment in the HoneyBee Stamps set called Perfect Blend.
To add some color to my image, I used a few watercolor pencils. I also added some of this watercolor on the card base- using a splattering of the primary colors in the image. To finish off the card, applied some Nuvo Drops in pink and aqua.
Thanks for hopping over to check out this card. I had a bunch of fun playing with these stamps and can’t wait to share more. Have a great week!
