Thursday Coffee Break | Coffee Shared With A Friend

Hello everyone… Happy Thursday! I hope you all have a fabulous week so far. Let’s take a little break today with some caffeinated card…

On my card today, I use the Coffee Love Stamp Set and VersaFine Clair ink pads that you can get from Super Sponsor Precious Remembrance Shop.

I created that background with alcohol inks (Stream and Sunshine Yellow) and alcohol blending solution. I applied just a drop of each color alcohol ink on the applicator tool and added couple drops of the blending solution. Then I added the inks on a glossy photo paper with dabbing motion. While the inks still kindda wet, I dabbed a paper towel on it and how I get that extra texture on it. I like how the colors are soft and pastel look on the background.

I stamped the lines from the same stamp set on the glossy photo paper VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink pad to create that plaid look background.

I trimmed this alcohol ink background paper into 4″ x 5.25″ and I added on the yellow card base with E-Z Runner Grand Adhesive from Super Sponsor Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L.

I stamped the cup on a watercolor paper with VersaFine Nocturne ink pad and the heart I stamped with VersaFine Clair Warm Breeze ink pad. Then, I colored the cup with Steadler Brush Pens and water brush. I dried the watercolor paint with craft heater and then fussy cut the cup with micro-tip scissors.

I stamped the sentiment on a white cardstock with VersaFine Nocturne ink pad and trimmed it into a sentiment banner.

I added the sentiment banner on the card with E-Z Runner Grand Adhesive and using 3D Foam Square to add the cup on the card. I embellished the card with some of the Snowcap White Opaque Sequins from Super Sponsor A Jillian Vance Design.

That’s my clean-and-simple card to share with you all today. I hope you like it too! Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Have a fabulous, caffeinated day!
