Hello there coffee-tea-cocoa loving friends! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip! This week I pulled out my florals as it’s time to plant some beauties in my yard! Friday after work I went to Lowe’s and picked up a couple potted plants and it’s now beginning to feel like Summer! WOO HOO! Summertime means SUN TEA SEASON and I’m excited to get that pickle jar out of the closet and fill it with water and tea…I can’t wait!
I pulled out a pretty floral set called Create a Wreath set from RG Avenue and thought the flower I picked looked like my dad’s gorgeous African Violets. I planted them right there on the page with some Black Taffy ink. After stamping them on a piece of white cardstock, I colored them with Copic markers and then printed out a sentiment using a font I got free from dafont.com. When you don’t have that perfect sentiment stamp, make one yourself, right?!
As I’m experimenting with making some new flavors of tea, I thought I’d send this card (and a sachet of tea to a fellow tea lover who enjoys fun tea mixes. I added a sentiment that would work perfectly for this occasion. Lavender tea? Blueberry Tea? hmmmm….
Yes, It is a little invitation for a tea date! Want to join us? If you can’t make it, We’ll have a cup for you!
Thanks for hopping over to check out my tea-licious tea card! I hope your day is fabulous!
