Welcome to a new Caffeine Fueled Paper Play! So, if you’re here you must know that we’re in the middle of the Spring/Summer 2019 Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop! If you don’t… check out this post here (after we’re done of course… don’t you leave me!) So many wonderful sponsors and some are having coffee related challenges of their own! Super Sponsor Paper Sweeties is one of those:
And here’s how I was inspired:
Paper Sweeties has an awesome selection of coffee, cocoa and tea related products and I’ve used a bunch of them here! I started with some pretty papers from Pink & Main’s Sunrise Paper Pad… oh boy do I love this pad… one of my favorite color combos and LOTS of plaid to choose from! I cut the plaid layer using the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies from Kat Scrappiness. Then that adorable Circle Scallop Frame Sweet Cut from Paper Sweeties.. love that you can cut the frame in a different color/pattern than the inside circle!
Next… that basket right?? I used the Basket Sweet Cut from PS which can be used to cut out the awesome coordinating stamp or it’s cool all on its own… and this basket paper I found at my LSS is by Authentique and I believe it’s from a Jubilee Too paper pack. Why I didn’t buy a bunch of sheets I don’t know… but if you find it, please do let me know! Next I cut some leaves from some previously watercolored paper using the Bee Happy Sweet Cuts and then stamped, colored and cut those pretty flowers from Hello Spring and coffee beans with leaves from Coffee, Yes Please. I stamped a whole bunch of these onto a sheet of Copic friendly paper and cut them out with my Scan N Cut… it’s such a good friend to me! I just love to have these on hand and ready to go so I’ll normally do this for these images. In my usual fashion, I used all kinds of thicknesses of foam tape… thank you to Super Sponsor Scrapbook Adhesives!! They have some of my fave sizes and easy to stack together when I need to!
And this cup… I can’t say enough about the cup from Keep Calm and Drink Coffee... the pretty shape.. perfect size… and the handle cut out (even way back when before everyone realized that was a must!)… and the steam!!! And then the cute coffee bean cluster from But First, Coffee. That sentiment is from But First, Coffee also… Paper Sweeties has so many great Coffee sentiments!
And there you have it!
