Hey there coffee loving crafty friends! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip! I hope you’re enjoying this lovely weekend! I’m excited to have started a two week Winter Break and will enjoy celebrating Christmas and New Year with family. I want to wish all my inky friends who celebrate this beautiful season and healthy and happy Christmas and New Year!
Today, I’m using a hodge podge of Manufacturer products for this project. Like many other crafters out there, I’ve amassed quite the collection of “favorite supplies” so I decided to pull out my colored pencils, Gamsol and Blending stumps and ink up a new stamp set I received from Inky Antics recently. It’s such a funny set, and I’m sure you’ll agree! Yeah, gotta have my coffee fix! This funny set “Coffee Break #1” has some great sentiments and of course this lovely lady! Don’tcha just love her curlers?
I added some coffee grounds and some star sequins to the shaker (I used a clear envelope for the shaker elements).
To create the frame for my shaker card, I used Lawn Fawn’s Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle die that released last month and an old staple, Fun Stampers Journey Circle Dies .
I stamped the coffee splatter on the inside with Catherine Pooler Over Coffee ink and
Memento Tuxedo Black ink for the sentiment!
If you love this card, I’ve created a coordinating sketch to challenge you this week. This is quite simple, and would work well for those thank you cards you’ll be making! Enjoy! If you choose to play along, please add a link to your creation to our inlinkz below!
