Welcome to Wayback Wednesday! I’m hijacking Designer Picks today and thought it would be fun to share with everyone some of my favorite blasts from the past from the current Design Team, this awesome group of ladies that continually inspire me!
Without further ado….
First up, is the most Admirable Amy Tsuruta, our fearless leader and co-founder of this creative place:
What is not to love with this one… this is one of my all time faves to be honest. I love how Amy is able to take any stamp and create a coffee card and the idea of this one … just LOVE it! Put a big smile on my face when I saw it…. and it makes me think how cool it would be to have more hands to hold more coffee cups all while coloring and petting my dog! It’s no wonder Amy has been the instigator of so many of my purchases! #AMYMADEMEBUYIT You must see the post here!
Next… the wonderful Chaitali Narla, also Co-founder of this crafty beverage movement and the person who makes sure all things techie are working:
So pretty!! Love all of the black, white and neutral of this one with that pretty pink cup… kinda clean but enough layers and pattern to please my paper loving soul… find out more about Chaitali here!
Becca Cruger… our Mixed Media Maven:
I don’t know about you, but this one screamed out to me… I think it may have been her DT debut… love how Becca shows us her process and LOVE all of the deep rich color in this one; the pretty doily, awesome cup and sentiment on vellum so it doesn’t cover up all of the yummy! I just wish she’d added a pic of her messy fingers! You can check out the details here!
Dana Gong… Always brings the Wow:
Don’t think it’s easy to pick a favorite for any of these talented ladies and especially so for Dana… but this one made me happy. Adorable, cool, fun… love that shaker element!! And the sweet sweet image and wonderful watercoloring… delightful! You can see her post here!
Erin…. the Coffee Loving Card/Tag Making Machine:
I picked this one because of all of the lovely colors and layers… love the way Erin can pull together so many different dies and make magic. I can only imagine what a crafting session in her space looks like… paper flying everywhere… you’d probably have to replay it in slow-mo for the mere mortal to be able to follow… that’s what I imagine anyway… check this one out here!
Lovely Helen Gullett:
The embossed leaves and woodgrain background… as I was looking back through I knew this had to be the one… so beautiful with those colors… there is something just so pleasing about them… maybe not your typical Fall, but yet it screams Fall.. I want to make those leaves right now!! I snagged this one from this throwback post here!
Bold and beautiful Kathy Schweinfurth (say that 3x fast):
So… I know when I stop at Kathy’s blog I’m going to leave saying first… Wow!… and then… I want that… or I need that! The colors in all of her creations… always a wowza. This one has more traditional colors… but the first time I saw it I knew I needed that thermos set… of course seeing it again, I realized I never did get it so … I have it in a cart right now as I type this … sheepish grin. And she can really steer an explosion of images in all the right directions! Impossible to pick a favorite, but this is in my top 10 of Kathy… love the papers and the design of it.. feels cozy… You can find the details in this post here!
Kerry… always unexpected and awesome:
When you stop over at Kerry’s place, you never know what you’re gonna get but you can be sure it’s going to awe you! When I saw this awesome paper flower with the coffee bean center!! My mouth dropped open and can’t you just smell the coffee looking at this pic?? AWEsome! You can find more info about this creation here!
Laurel Seabrook.. Laureate of Layers:
Laurel has a way with the paper.. the way she combines all of these patterns and colors and stitching just winds it’s way around my crafty heart.. and picked this one as my fave because .. well… the florals.. makes me happy. You can find the original post here!
Dana Warren… she’s made me a user… of all the stuff in my stash:
I love the way Dana reminds me of stuff I have but don’t use nearly often enough… and she finds new and fantastic ways to use them! This is one of my very favorite of hers… so cool how she used a little die set to create that awesome background! … and that cluster of images and these beautiful colors… I see something new every time I look at it… you need to check out her post here!
Terri Burson.. oh so Talented Terri:
It was so difficult to choose one favorite from Terri because she’s not afraid to try anything and her creations are all so different and all so wonderful! I fell in love with this one though… that background… and the adorable bears and layers at the bottom… so here it is! You can see this post here!
And our two newest members, Lori Turner and Robyn Jordan joined us not too long ago and will both be sharing a wonderful project with us very soon so these aren’t from Way Back… but they are pretty awesome so I thought you might want to look at them again!
Lori Turner:
Love the delicious distressing on this… owls, autumn colors, and coffee… what’s not to love?
Robyn Jordan:
Love how she brought your attention to the embossing on this… beautiful card!
And if you missed it you can meet them at this post here! I cannot wait to see what these two have in store for us… I’m already a fan!
So that’s our look back at some beauties…some of my faves…hope you enjoyed this love letter to my teamies! Did I get it right? If not, let us know what your faves are! I dare you to try…lol! ‘Cause it was not easy!
