Hello! We’re up to our eighth installment of our new feature…Design Team Q&A. We are interviewing the team throughout the summer so that you get to know them! Today, well, is me…Amy Tsuruta! I manage all the Guest Designers, Special Features and of course, the Coffee Lovers Blog Hops. In case you’ve missed it, we’ve interviewed Kathy Schweinfurth, Dana Warren, Laurel Seabrook, Dana Gong, Erin Thiem, Kerry Urbatch and Helen Gullett.

Tell us a little more about yourself!
Let’s see, I’m a Canadian living in Washington State and love it. I’m the proud momma of 2 kids that bring me so much joy. I’ve been using this particular profile pic for awhile…in case you didn’t know, I’ve been engaged to an amazing guy. HIS hobby is airplane building and flying. I work part time at a biotech company in Seattle which gives me plenty of time to craft, hang out with the kids, go flying, check out new restaurants and gather with my crafty friends.
When did you join the CLC Design Team?
Can you believe that the very first hop was September of 2014? We’re coming up on our 3rd Anniversary! That hop posted on my partner in coffee, Chaitali’s blog. The next hop, Holiday – Dec 2014 was on my personal blog. The hops following had their own home here on this blog!
What is your favorite coffee/tea or cocoa card that you’ve designed?
Hmmm…that’s a tough one. I create so many coffee themed cards but here’s one of my latest cards that makes me smile:

What is your favorite color/color combo?
LOL…Green + anything with green:

We would love a peek into your crafty space, tell us a bit about it:
I consider myself fortunate that I have a designated room for all my crafting supplies. In my last home I had a crafting ‘hallway’ where there was a niche for a desk top and stacked drawers (anyone remember the Store in Style collection?). In an attempt to ‘keep things real’ I’ve outgrown my space so I’ve been on a mission to downsize. Today I’m sharing shots of my different storage solutions that work for me. While taking photos, I realize that I had more ink that I thought…LOL. First up is my pigment ink collection and just a peek of my woodmount stamps:

On the left hand side you see a tower that contains my Impress Fresh Ink collection and their coordinating re-inkers. I purchased that spinning tower from my friend Jeni and let me tell you, it’s quite large and carries 108 inks and re-inkers. I’m also storing my Distress Oxides and my various go-to black inks.
Woodmount stamps…that display case is by Making Memories.and has a total of 6 shelves that are literally packed with woodmount stamps that include Hero Arts, Impress + Savvy Stamps.
Next up is my Hero Arts Ink Collection:

FYI: Ombre inks are stored flat and not upright.
Okay, I see a stray Emerald Green pad…sorry about that people. Just me ‘keeping things real’. I tend to see things after I’ve uploaded my pics into my post. The inks are stored in lucite nail polish organizers.
Here is my marker storage:

My Marker Organizer is by OrganizeMore. I love it but it seems that when I receive my next wave of copics, I’ll have to do some rearranging. Typing about Copics, if you haven’t done so already, you need the Copic app (Android edition). Not only does it keep you organized, it’s so pretty to see all the colors you own.
Okay, let’s keep moving here, I have one more photo. This is a sneak peek of how I keep organized for my Design Teams. This year I had some cabinets installed above my workspace.

This is how I keep organized for Reverse Confetti. Inks are stored in smaller nail polish organizers in rainbow colors. I keep all the stamps and coordinating dies alphabetically with the stamps in front and their dies in back, within the same pouch/sleeve.
Here are some older photos, the concept is still the same though:

What are your ‘go-to’ crafty tools?
On a crafty day I regularly use my:
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Runner + Foam Squares
Whew! That’s it for me! Thanks so much for stopping by!
