Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Good Monday morning! I’ve been feeling the pull for all things nautical lately, so I broke out my Carta Bella Ahoy There papers and went to work.

First, I did a bunch of smooshing with my Ranger distress oxide ink, for my sky and sand, adding some white Flower Soft and coloring it with my oxide ink.  I fussy cut those fun little seashells from the Ahoy There papers, adding some clear Nuvo crystal drops for shine.

For my paper pieced coffee cups, I’m using the Pink & Main Latte Love stamp set.  I also watercolored the lid with my Zig Clean Color brush in cornflower blue, and adding more clear Nuvo Crystal drops for shine.

I hand trimmed a little boat for my cups as well.  I also distress my paper edges with my Ranger distress tool.  The stitched dies are from Stamplorations Running Crazy nesting stitch dies and all adhesives are from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  My netting ribbon is from May Arts Ribbon.

Now for a little Coffee Buzz news…..

Yup, you guessed it, Krispy Kreme, famous for their hot and ready donuts is coming out with a coffee spread, similar to Nutella.  Your’s truly will definitely be checking this one out.  Look for it on shelves at Walmart later this year. (photo credit: sprudge.com)
