Hello, coffee loving friends!
It’s Dana here with another Tuesday crafTEA Time. Have you enjoyed 2017 Spring hop? I found we already reached 700 entries and I hope we break the record again of last winter’s 819! For more inspiration, I made a spring shaker card today. I’d like to show you don’t need many coffee or tea stamps to participate in Spring hop 🙂
To me, spring is cherry blossom season and that image makes me mouthwatering cause of cherry blossom themed food/latte/tea. Today’s color palette is also inspired from cherry blossom-matcha latte 🙂
I started by blending dye inks from MFT on the top and bottom of the A2 size card stock.
I then created tea bag shaker using acetate and fuse tool. I fused tea bag shape following MFT blueprint 15 die and cut tea bag topper using same die set.
Next, I stamped cat from MME Page Huggers stamp set onto the watercolor paper and colored it with Zig markers using waterbrush. I die cut it using coordinating die set.
Then, I stamped sentiments. Big sentiment ‘Happiness’ is from MME Words Defined stamp set and small sentiment on the tea bag tag is from MFT LLD Cup of tea stamp set.
Finally, I arranged all elements on the background panel where I wanted them using glue and foam adhesive and mounted them on the white card base.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy the Spring hop!
Love,
Dana
