Hey, everyone! I am so excited to be this month’s guest designer for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog! This is truly such an honor! I am not a daily coffee drinker but I do enjoy all of those sugary drinks and delicious teas every now and then as a sweet treat! For my first card this month I wanted test out a couple different alpha sets! Check it out!!!
I started by creating a 4″ square card base from some kraft card stock. Then I used a rainbow die on some plain white card stock and ink blended with quite a few Distress Inks. I used at least 2 on each color. I added the rainbow flat onto my card and started stamping the sentiment, which I hope and dream is true. 😉 I used some of the same Distress colors for the colorful “COFFEE.” As a final touch I stamped a tiny mug and colored it with a few purple colored pencils and added white to the heart to really make it POP. I love the way these colors look on kraft paper and using a brown card base just screams coffee to me!
