Hello, Coffee loving friends!
Dana here. I’m back with my last card as a September guest. Have you
enjoyed Fall hop? In my case, YES! I made 7 coffee/tea/cocoa cards in
this month. 5 is for guest post and 2 is my extra entry for fall hop.
I have had so much great time with you. Thank you kindly for having
me, Amy! Also, I’d like to say thank you to other whole team members
and Coffee loving cardmakers friends. All you are amazing!
Fall is my favorite season and I love to stroll around the fall street
and see beautifully colored leaves with warm tea in my tumbler. Today,
I shared my favorite moment through this card with you.
I started by creating front wall using die, stencil and embossing
paste. Once the panel was dry, I ink blended it lightly using same
stencil and distress ink (Antique linen).
I then colored pig (I can’t resist using this pig again on my project
haha) and coffee cup using Zig markers and white gel pen. The fall
leaves on the cup are my hand drawing.
I die cut 3 big leaves and watercolored them using distress inks (Barn
door, Wild honey, Peeled paint, Crushed olive, Vintage photo). Small
solid leaf stamps are stamped using Altenew crisp inks (Butter cream,
Warm sunshine, Caramel toffee, Paper bag).
Next, I made my own background on the watercolor paper using Mijello
mission gold and Zig markers (black). After it was completely dry, I
mounted it to the card base.
I then stamped sentiment stamps on the watercolor panel. To finish
off, I assembled all elements where I wanted them using foam tape
(front wall, pig, cup) and Glossy accents.
Heartfelt thanks for all your support and encouraging comments in past month.
Love and hugs,
Dana.
