Good morning coffee loving cardmakers! It is Thursday again and time to take a little break with me, Helen 🙂
I love working with coloring mediums. My coloring time is relaxing time for me and something I do for fun. I color on coloring book, on my journaling Bible and I color on stamped images that I use on card, home decor and bookmarks, sometimes 🙂
And today, I am sharing a One-Layer, CAS, and watercolored card.

I stamped the cups from STAMPlorations – Coffee Happy stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black. I created couple masks for the cups. Then I colored them with Gansai Tambi watercolor paints. I love this watercolor paints, they are so rich and vibrant. I did not have to use a lot to get the bold colors.
First I wet each mug with small round water-brush, then I picked up the color with the tip of the wet small round brush. And added it on the wet image. It is called wet-on-wet technique. Simple and quick way to add paint and spread them around. I did the same step on each of cup.
Then I added some shadowing around the cups to give them some depth and extra texture without layers. I dried the panel with craft heater to make sure they were dry well, and then I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black, too.
I added the panel on the dark brown solid card from American Crafts with a lot of adhesive since it is watercolored panel. And my card is finished. It is quick and super flat, mail friendly for sure.
