Hello coffee loving friends!
This is Andreea and I am back today for our weekly cup of … happiness.
Raise your hand if you can relate to some of those mornings when the coffee just doesn’t seem to absorb quick enough in our system, and we need that caffeine badly enough to dream of soaking in it! I know I do … and it is then when I get jealous of this cute little mouse by Stampenduous, House-mouse design, who is fortunate to be small enough to fit in the cup.
To achieve the design of today’s card I used products from few different manufacturers.
I created a background panel using My Favourite Things brick wall stencil and “frayed burlap” distress ink. I felt the background needed a bit of color, so I added a couple of pattern paper strips.
The coffee cup with the little mouse is stamped on Ranger watercolor paper and colored with Gansai Tambi watercolors and Wink of Stella in pink color. I fussy cut the coffee cup and adhered it to the background with foam, for a bit of dimension.
The little hearts are die cut using Simon Say Stamp die. I die cut them out of black cardstock to match the pop of black of the sentiment strip.
The sentiment is by Lil’Inker and is part of the “Coffee Cozy” stamp set. Doesn’t he look cozy in his cup of … happiness?
I am wishing you all an amazing rest of the week, without a reason to dream of soaking up in caffeine!
Hugs,
Andreea
