The day that Coffee Loving Cardmakers asked me to be a Guestie – I didn’t even need any coffee to make me jump up and down repeatedly! Don’t get me wrong… I definitely drank some anyhow, but boy was I ever honored.
Even though I’ve been crafting ever since I was old enough to understand that glitter could be glued on to ANY surface, I only recently started my blog, The Damel of Distressed Cards, a little over a year ago. The community of kindness I’ve found online bowled me over and what was just a hobby turned into… erm… an addiction! I LOVE meeting new friends just about as much as my java.
I am currently a stamp designer for Super Sponsor STAMPlorations, and created two coffee-themed stamp sets just with this group in mind.
I’ve had my work published, am on several design teams, and am constantly trying to keep up with the new bloggy friends and their crazy inspirational projects. Since I’m from North Dakota, there aren’t exactly a ton of people to connect with, and even fewer people who understand the passion of cardmaking. So blogging is my outlet, and finding amazing groups like Coffee Loving Papercrafters that create a real sense of community is the bestest thing EVER!
